The LIGHT beyond Death

Death has always served as a topic of great interest to philosophers and spiritual thinker of all time..me neither of them.To some of it is like a riddle, other consider it a harsh reality to many it is the end,but for the optimistic it entails a new beginning. While the concept of death can be summarised to mean "the end of organism" humans have never ceased to be baffled by its mystery.
This confusion and contradiction surrounded death make it full of mystique in an unknown realm. At the same time, it is something we would never talk about as our deepest fears inevitably include the fear of leaving our loved ones, or the loss of a precious someone. To me meaning of Death is same as the value and meaning of life. It pervades every moment of life. Death refers to end of of the process of creation and of valuation of life. The level of thought generated by such an "end" may differ with different individuals, but it sure has them mulling over.
Death comes when our spirit connects itself with the cosmos. Its not a negative thing , in fact, death is a transition of energy that subsides in human body. Once we are dead, the energy leaves our body and gets dissolved into the universe from where the body has absorbed it. Thus nothing is actually lost.
When seen as a natural succession to well-lived life, it doesn't seem threatening, but the moment one reflects on an untimely death, one wants to brush off the thought and divert our attention to something lively. My ANGEL, 16 yr old did not know the meaning of death till she lost her big brother in an accident. As if suddenly transformed into a grown up,she refuses to discuss about her grief with anyone. She kept herself busy with me and our dog LALOO.
For even those who have not encountered death of a close one, the fact that life is short and death an inevitable certainty tends to linger in the mind. To some extent it can even be said that death act as a reminder to human,to act and to act now.
The belief in reincarnation and rebirth has been en grained into the minds of Hindus by way of books, films, and folktales. People don't understand that it is more important to live here and now, than dwelling over something that could be inconsequential. In the past and even now we see a number of plays and movies personifying death( Yamraj,,,,narak and swarg..) and portraying it as a horrific being that takes an individual with itself. When thought of as an essential part of life, the "end" seems to get its true meaning.

No one in this world is immortal, we all face death and each day we move closer to our end. An effort should be made to be HAPPY that the dead once existed and move on. One should strive for good KARMA and speculate over what is considered the biggest mystery of humankind.
Love at first sight...... A MYTH ???

Now, after say around 24 years and few months of my existence, I certainly believe that there’s nothing like “Love at first sight”…..technically it is attraction, or curtly rephrased, “Lust at first sight”.It is something like a scenario where a bike-loving friend jumps with joy on seeing my new Karizma 225cc “Hey, I love this bike…This rocks dude!!”.You cannot actually love a person just by looking at him, you’ve got to know enough of him as a person. But hey, I better shut up, cause the whole of Bollywood survives on this “Love at first sight” thing….and then even most real-life romances start this way. If circumstances are favourable you may win over the friendship of the person you are attracted too, and if you don’t, you’ll probably write poetry like me or listen to Jagjit Singh.
I don’t know if it is my attitude problem or just plain simple analysis of life. I have somehow adopted the philosphy, that self-love is the only love man has. Behind almost all kinds of love you have some motive…..right from friendship to romance. The day the motive is lost, you generally lose the love. Sometimes, relationships do drag on…..but the love is gone!! Had there been something like unconditional love, relationships wouldn’t have soured….never!!!
